Terms and Conditions

Congratulations on your purchase of a Bennett Read Classiqué 5 piece stainless steel cookware set. Correct use of this high quality product will provide you with a lifetime of trouble-free service. Make sure that you read your user guide so that you are able to get the most value from your purchase.

  • Before using your cookware for the first time, remove any labels and wash it thoroughly in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely with a soft cloth.
  • Pre-heat your cookware to working temperature before adding food. Do not boil dry or overheat the product. Undissolved salt will pit steel surfaces. Add salt only after water has reached boiling point.
  • Although this product is dishwasher safe, it is very easy to hand wash. Prompt drying will prevent water spots.
  • To remove burnt remains inside the cookware, fill the saucepan with soapy water and heat gently. If the stain is not completely removed, rub with lemon or vinegar and a nylon scouring pad.
  • High heat when cooking certain foods may cause a ‘bluish matted rainbow-like’ discolouration or small white circles of chalk-like deposits to form inside the pot. Neither of these will damage your cookware and are easily removed.
  • Do not use wire pot scourers, steel wool or any other coarse abrasive on the inside or outside of the cookware as this will damage the high quality mirror finish.
  • Using wooden or nylon utensils is advised to prevent scratching.

1. Do not add salt to Classiqué cookware without liquid or before the liquid is hot. Salt attacks the surface of Stainless Steel cookware and may cause pitting or small white burn marks unless dissolved quickly. To avoid any problems use the following procedure:

a.) Heat the water

b.) Add salt

c.) Stir well

2. Cool Touch Handles:

Do not use a small casserole on a large hob as excessive heat will be transferred directly

from the hob’s edge to the Cool Touch Handles causing them to become extremely hot and

dangerous to touch.

We offer our customers a lifetime guarantee on the following basis:

1. If for any reason replacement is necessary because of faulty material or workmanship, we will replace without charge any product found upon examination by our factory experts to be defective.

2. This guarantee does not cover consequential damage and/or loss or damage to this cookware should the damage be caused due to accidents, overheating, neglect, abuse, tampering or misuse.
